Zelensky wrote on Twitter that he spoke with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and agreed to hold an emergency meeting.
“We also discussed the issue of increasing pressure on Russia and assistance in restoring the damaged” infrastructure, he said.
Eight people were killed in Kiev's Shevchenchiev district after the Russian troops attacked.
