A Kosovo Police Special Unit patrol was located on the bridge between Northern Mitrovica and South.
But the patrol that was located on the bridge between South Mitrovica and Northern Mitrovica has already left.
Special Unit members searched every vehicle that went out and entered the Bosnian Quarter.
The Kosovo Government's decision regarding license plates that have not been converted from illegal to those RKS has already entered into force.
The application of this decision will take place in three stages, initially presenting remarks, and after three weeks fines for those who do not comply.
Starting from November 1st to November 21st, the measure will be the one to blame, then from November 21st for two months, until January 21st, will be the measure of fine. From January 21st, there will be test plates for two more months, after which the date on April 21st can no longer have illegal license plates in circulation.
Kosovo Interior Minister Xhelal Svecla has said that based on the government's decision, Kosovo Police will start delivering brochures to the owners of vehicles having illegal license plates issued by Serbia with acronyms of Kosovo cities.
“Format all our citizens who own tools equipped with illegal license plates “PR”, “KM”, “PZ”, “GL”, “UR”, “PE”, “DA” or“From June 10, 1999 to April 21, 2022, to register their tools with RKS license plates and thus successfully complete this process that contributes directly to public security, traffic safety, and return of legitimacy to the country. Encourage citizens not to be held hostage by political interests and criminal groups but to take advantage of all the facilities and record their means in all the registration centres, regardless of the settlement or residence. The government of the Republic of Kosovo is committed to providing security and rule of law throughout the country and for all its citizens indiscriminately”, Svecla wrote on Facebook./Periscopi/
