Renowned Kosovo professor Seniha Spahiu dies

Seniha Spahiu was a teacher, a student of musical education. He was born in Pristina, received music lessons in Skopje, where he conducted and studies by musical professors. According to its biography in the Kosovo Encyclopedia Dictionary, published by the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts, Spahiu conducted his studies of magistrates at the Academy of Music in Belgrade for methodical music learning.
For the half century, she was a teacher at all educational levels. She was a teacher at Pristina primary school “Liria” and head of the school choir, then professor of music methodology at Pristina High School, then at the Faculty of Arts as legalist, docent and professor from 1987. After retirement (1991) he continued his work at the Faculty of Arts, and in 2002 was named “Professus”. Organised and conducted postgraduate studies in 1998- 2011. It is coauthor and author of pre-school textbooks and music texts for several elementary school classes, as well as author of the university text “The method of teaching music” (2009). It's done research-professional research on issues from the field of teaching music, including a variety of works, as well as coral songs and children. Its professional publications are published in various professional-scient journals. He is a member of the Association that Kosovo composers (from 1980) and headed the Association of Musical Pedagages of Kosovo. In 2016 the national prize for vital activities was split, “Dadani”.
