(4 years ago)At the Constitutional Court in Pristina, at 13:15, the sentence will be announced against former Serbian List Minister Ivan Todosijevic, who is accused of inciting hatred, division, national, racial, religious or ethnic failure. Todosijevic was sentenced to two years in first degree at the end of 2019 after he called the Massacra [...] fiction.
Todosijevic was sentenced to two years in first-degree prison at the end of 2019 after he called Recak's Massacre fiction. In addition to the foundation, the 2 years in prison were confirmed by the Court of Appeals.
A day after the decision was issued by two Albanian judges and one Serb judges in the north protested by stopping the job.
Following confirmation by the Court of Appeals, Todosijevic's lawyers filed a complaint with the Supreme Court. The college of this court decided to turn the case into a new trial.
The former Parliament delegation and former Minister of Local Power was convicted of his statement in Zveccan at the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the NATO bombings, where he said Recak massacre had been invented and used as a reason for the bombing.
