PDK Parliamentary Group chief Abelard Tahiri estimates that the Progress Report demonstrates the lack of progress in all areas of Kosovo.
Tahiri stressed that party wants progress for the country, until it added that even though in opposition, they have voted for international agreements.
“We want progress for our country, we want to contribute to our country. So in line with it, as a parliamentary group we have given support to almost 31 international agreements, 30 of us have voted, we have voted all these agreements as opposition”, Tahiri said.
It is of importance to note that the progress report praises the adoption of part of the laws, such as the law on property declaration and the law on anti-corruption. What one sentence can sum up is that this report records the lack of progress in all areas in the Republic of Kosovo”, Tahiri added.
While PDK deputy Blerta Deliu-Codra points out in this report is that there has been limited progress in most areas.
Whatever we see in this recent report, in most areas there has been limited progress, and we have not seen enough momentum from this government committed to work in each sector, there is no deep reform that the report stresses in the latest report”, Deliu-Codra said.
One of the themes that this reports is the link to journalists. As the report said, we see a particular emphasis on media freedom, which this year has been overstated”.
