Orban: Merkel could prevent war in Ukraine

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said on Tuesday that former German cadre Angela Merkel could prevent Russia's war in Ukraine if she is still in the office.

In an organisation held in Berlin, Orban has said Merkel has prevented a war in 2014, following Moscow's decision to annex the Ukrainian Crimea Peninsula.

No details have been made to the public about what they discussed.

During Tuesday's organisation, Orban has said that American President Joe Biden is not the right person to end the war in Ukraine.

According to him, an agreement is currently needed between the United States and Russia.

However, according to him, Biden has been highly critical of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
