Operation TOTO) in Kosovo, several citizens and a police officer are arrested for fraud, obligation and gambling

Kosovo Police and Police Inspectorate with authorisation of the Founding Prosecutor and Foundation Court in Prizren have implemented the encrypted “operation. TOTO” in several regions of the country where several persons have been arrested.

The operation was aimed at implementing the Constitutional Court Order in Prizren for arresting suspected persons, including a police official and control of several locations in Prizren, Pristina, Malisheva, Suhareka.

The investigation is under way on the basis of the suspicion that criminal acts of “Fajdes”, “taskation” and “The organising of the Pyramid Schemes and Illegal Gambling”.

Several locations have been checked and several suspected individuals have been arrested until this phase of implementation.

A considerable amount of money, some cars, mobile phones, weapons and ammunition have been seized in quality of material evidence. As the operation is still under way, additional details will be provided after the police operation is completed through an additional communique”.
