He added that Prime Minister Albin Kurti had considered establishing reciprocity a victory, but, according to him, it was a fraud that would do great harm to the country because we are losing in this process.
Moliqaj said the bad news about all this work is that the opposition has backed Kurti Government.
We must first criticize the government, but also our society. The party's over. There was an enthusiasm that the Government of Kosovo had injected and imposed that we are winning, say we are putting in reciprocity and we are moving forward in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue. This was a fraud which on one side would make Kosovo political on the other, society should be more aware. We're losing in this process”
He added that Kosovo is in a harmful process because it will essentially normalise relations without Serbia knowing us.
Moliqaj said dialogue cannot condition visa liberalisation, but the EU is keeping the country closed in this process, Online Economy reports.
“Since the first day of the Kurt government when it deceived us that it would be a priority number 7 we said it was telling lies until the day it said we were establishing sovereignty and reciprocity with Serbia. The bad news is that the parliamentary opposition has backed Kurti in these actions from the alleged ban on referenda to the reciprocity measure. We are now in a very harmful process for Kosovo. On one hand Kosovo will accept the agreement, which will essentially have the normalisation of the Kosovo-Serbia relationship known to Serbia. All it's done is to normalize not knowing”.
“There is no discussion of recognition and there is new compromise, which is not the last compromise. The Kurti Government has brought this matter. One is keeping us closed The EU is on the visa issue, but on the other hand, without the Government resolving the political problem, even this government is holding the visa liberalisation issue on hold. Dialogue cannot cost visa liberalisation. The truth is they've already conditioned it. Kurti government will most likely make a compromise, which does not lead to recognition and the damage Kosovo will bring will be much more than the benefit. The only carrot for Kosovo has remained visa liberalisation”.
