Todosijevic was found guilty of inciting hatred, division and national, racial, religious or ethnic failure, a few years after the quality of Local Power Management Minister had mustered up the courage to fake the Recak massacre.
Prosecutor At and Dema had in the final address stated that Todosijevic attacked an entire people by inciting hatred and division.
Todosijevic's sentence comes after the Supreme Court had turned the case into a retrial in December last year, shortly after the Serbian politician was sentenced to two years in prison.
The reason for aggression in our country has been the so-called humanitarian catastrophe in Kosovo and Metohija... Recak's massacre was fiction... It's Albanian terrorists who faked all this and committed the biggest crimes in Kosovo and Metohija... For this, to this day, no one has claimed responsibility... they have committed crimes before NATO aggression, they have killed good Serbian houses and policemen in their workplace... blood of their drinking has continued even during the aggression even after the arrival of the so-called peaceful mission in Kosovo and Metohija”, Todosijevic said in March 2019, with the 20th anniversary of the launch of NATO's bombings in the former Serbian army.
In the Recak massacre in January 1999, 45 civilians were killed by the Serbian Army. NATO's military campaign had ended the Kosovo war.
