Mehe and Jashar meet Escobar: Talk about regional security

He said that with Escobar they have talked about the “security situation in the country and the region, the co-operation we have with the KFOR and NATO mission”, as he added that he has announced “the destabilising policies that the Serbian side is following through the distribution of false information, co-operation with the Russian Federation, and the continued pressure exerted on the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and members of the Kosovo Security Force of the Serb Community, who live in the northern part of the country<3x>.

Also, Mehaj has written that Serbia is not imposing sanctions on Russia due to aggression in Ukraine, until it has added that the deployment of 48 military bases near the Kosovo border “does not change the fact that the new order in the Balkans is unchanged”.

Unfortunately, we cannot say the same thing about the Serb side, which continues to impose sanctions for the Russian Federation, although they are seeing every day just as the whole world has served to teach Russian aggression and crime against the Ukrainian people, thus testifying once again the least their inability to secede from Russian policies, if not the fact that the Western Balkans' past has not served to teach, to understand that the new Balkan order is inconsistent, so the establishment of 48 military bases near the border of the Republic of Kosovo will not change that fact except for an openness of a political class with a very old view of the European Union, and the more democratic view of the Union, Mex1]

Mejaj has at the bottom added that the “journey of the Republic of Kosovo has a final target of”.

“However, the journey of the Republic of Kosovo has a final destination, membership in the EU and NATO, where we are located, and basically share common values, a mission to ensure the preservation of peace in the country, the region and the wider”, it has written.

In the context of my visit to the United States, I had a meeting with Deputy Assistant Secretary of the United States for European and Eurasian Affairs, simultaneously overseeing policies of Western Balkan countries, Mr. Gabriel Eskobar, with whom we discussed the security situation in the country and the region, the co-operation we have with the mission of KFOR and NATO, and also informed him of the destabilising policies that are being pursued by Serb sides through the distribution of false information, co-operation with the Russian Federation, and the constant pressure exerted on citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and members of the Serb community's Kosovo Security Force, which live in the northern part of the country.

I also stressed once again that the positions of the Republic of Kosovo are clear, just as we are always pro-European policies, creating a safe environment for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo indiscriminately, for this and engage daily.

However, the trip of the Republic of Kosovo has a final destination, EU membership and NATO membership, where we are located, and basically share common values, a mission to ensure the preservation of peace in the country, the region and beyond.
