Lukashenko presents Putin a tractor for his 70th birthday

As leaders of several former Soviet states met at the Konstantin Palace in St Petersburg, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko awarded the Russian president Vladimir Putin, a certificate of the vehicle as a gift.

Lukashenko, the authoritarian leader who has led the former Soviet state with a strong hand for more than two decades, told reporters he has used such a tractor model in his garden.

It is still unclear how the Russian leader responded to this gift, which was announced by Lucasenco's office. /Periscopi/
