Defence Minister Armend Mehaj has announced that he is continuing the training of mountain search and rescue at the military alpinism centre at Centro Adstramentto Alpino in Aosta, Italy.
During training, our specialists have advanced their skills for access to rock - site victims, providing first aid, evacuation of victims, moving into glaciers, accessing victims within deep explanations and attracting them to safe places, searching forests and mountain areas, and searching for avalanches using advanced equipment and techniques.

It continues to advance the professional skills of our mountain search-saving specialists at the Military Alpinism Centre in Italy.
Within the framework of bilateal co-operation in the field of defence with Italy, our specialists from the Mountain Peace Research Togu of the KSF National Guard have successfully completed the mountain search-saving training at the Central Military Alpine Centre at Centro Addestramento Alpino in Aosta, Italy.
During the training, our specialists have advanced their skills for access to rock - site victims, providing first aid, evacuation of victims, moving on glaciers, accessing victims within deep explanations and attracting them safely, search into forests and mountain areas, and searching for avalanches using advanced equipment and techniques.
Our search-saving units are a fine example of professionalism and self-defence in rescue operations in the face of all challenges that affect the safety of the country's citizens indiscriminately.
