KPM condemns cables more than 1,000 euros for copyright violations

Initially, this Commission has examined several legal cases for violating Article 30 of the Author's Law by several distribution operators over the registration of distribution operators' agreements at the association V APIC.
“Based on Article 30, paragraph 2, of Law No. 04/ L-065 for the Rights of the Author and the Poor Rights, agreements on copyright related to retransmitation of visual audio programmes will be valid only after they are registered by associations for collective rights management. The reviewed cases are listed as follows: Artmotion, Swiss plus 1, Tel Communications, Telcos, Vision tv, Vista, Link Product, Bb Herc, Astra net, Bled, Comnet - A, Connect-3, Dot net, Emonette, Galaxy, Ipko, IPTV Tech, ISP Broadcasting, Job Net, Kedria net, Kugo tv, Memory net, I made cable., Max Tv, MTS D.O. O, Speed Tv, TV Eho.”, announced KPM
After reviewing the cases, the Commission decided that all highly-ordered distribution operators would be sanctioned at a fine measure of 1000 euros, according to Article 30, paragraph 1.3, of the KPM Law for retransmitting channels without currency agreements in the sense of Article 30, paragraph 2, of Law No. 04/ L-065 for the Rights of the Author and Poor Rights, as well as Article 21, paragraph 2.7 of Law No. 05L-047 for Changing and Fulfilling Law No. 04/ L-065 for Author's Rights and Near Rights, namely Article 160, paragraph 2.
The KKP has forced distribution operators in the 30-day term, after the ability of this decision, to cut down channels on retransmitting, until the registration of agreements on the collective rights management association, as defined by Article 30, paragraph 2, of Law No. 04/ L-065 for the Rights of the Author and Poor Rights, as well as Article 21, paragraph 2.7 of Law No. 05L-047 for Changing and Fulfilling Law No. 04/ L-065 for Author's Rights and Near Rights, namely Article 160, paragraph 2. /Periscopi/
