Killed 11 Russian volunteers after attack on military base near the border

Two volunteer soldiers have opened fire on other troops in a Russian military shooting range near Ukraine, killing 11 and injuring 15 others, the Russian Defence Ministry said.

The shooting reportedly took place in the Belgorod region, in southwestern Russia, bordering Ukraine.

Russia's Defence Ministry said two volunteers from an unidentified former Soviet nation opened fire on other soldiers during the training of the target before they were killed.

The ministry called the incident a <x0... terrorist attack”, Skynews reports.
