Illegal license plates back to RKS

Only 12 cars of Serbian citizens have returned from illegal plates to Kosovo's. On September 1st, Kosovo citizens, with the Kosovo government's decision, were forced to remove illegal plates. There are thousands of vehicles with illegal license plates that circulate on Kosovo's territory, whose owners have until October 31st to convert to those RKS. Serbian citizens of northern Kosovo, unwilling to declare whether to respond to this decision by the Government of Kosovo, say everything depends on the agreement between the two countries.
According to Interior Affairs Ministry data, only 12 citizens have responded to the call for registration of Kosovo's license plates so far.
Of them, 4 are from the Gjilan region, 4 of Mitrovica, and two cars from the Prizren and Pristina region. This small number, according to the MPB, is due to the threats those citizens are taking from criminal groups orchestrated by Serbia.
