The American diplomat has said his state has always been and will always be at the side of Kosovo.
The United States and Kosovo are very close friends. The United States has been side by side with Kosovo for a long time, and Kosovo also stands alongside the United States. We have real good relations with this government. I have good personal relations with President Osmani and Prime Minister Kurti and the contacts between governments are strong and powerful. This has been the case with past governments because to say it again, we have lasting friendships and partnership”, Havenier said in Context.
He has also talked about meetings with Secretary Blinken while underlining the fact that they want the previous agreements of the two states to be implemented.
I don't think so. Part of our talks with the Kosovo government has been our wish to see the implementation of previous agreements. This would include elements of Washington's commitments as well as of Brussels' agreements. But we have powerful partnerships; we communicate all the time. You probably know yesterday, Secretary Blinken spoke with Prime Minister Kurti. This is just one example. They met earlier in the summer. We have strong relations, strong partnership”, the US ambassador said.
