Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has proposed hardening sentences against perpetrators of criminal acts of rape with several sets of complementary sentences.
For those convicted of criminal acts of domestic violence and violence, changes in the Penal Code predict the ban on employment rights in the public sector.
“For criminal acts of rape, sexual assault and domestic violence to add additional additional penalties: halting the right of running in any public position from 3 to 10 years, the person who is found guilty of the criminal act of domestic rape and violence”.
“Prohibiting public sector employment at all levels for the person found guilty of the violation criminal act”, Minister Haxhiu followed. “Banning the right to profit vehicle and running the vehicle from 1 to 5 years for the convicted person for the criminal offense”. The minister has also said that with changes to the Penal Code it is envisioned that the “terms of the sentence will not be reduced”.
