This was confirmed by German Foreign Minister Annalana Baerbox.
She said this means that Kosovo and Bosnia will abolish visas.
With these agreements, people of their countries will be able to cross the borders of the Balkan states only with IDs. Universities will accept each other's diplomas. This may look like technicality, but it's historic steps. It means that young Bosniaks and Kosovars will visit each other without visas”, Baerbock said at the conference for the Western Balkans in Berlin.
She said these three agreements pave the way for the creation of a joint regional market of the Western Balkans.
“By setting up this market, you are taking an important step forward in the EU accession process”, Backback said ahead of a meeting of Western Balkan and EU officials in Berlin.
She added that the agreements would be officially signed at a Western Balkan Sam in Berlin in November.
Backock said it was a priority for the German government to bring Western Balkan countries to the EU to ensure stability and economic progress in the region.
I urge you all to step up your reforms in the interest of your citizens”, she told the Western Balkan foreign ministers gathered in Berlin
