The bird, called Echo, is located in the Taronga Zoo in Sidney where it is filmed imitating crying and screaming.
The bird is of a unique species known for imitating the spectacular noises around it.
Leanne Golewski, head of the zoo, said 7-year-old Echo heard it as a sound from guests.
Baby crying is one of the sounds Echo has the ability to imitate.
