Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi has been staying for the whole day in Prizren, where, together with the candidate for the next mayor of Prizren, Shacir Totaj, they have met many citizens in different Prizren neighbourhoods.
His visit to Prizren, leader of The PDK has started by visiting the Islamic Community of Kosovo in this city, while during the day it has met citizens in several neighbourhoods where, along with candidate Shaqir Totay, they have unveiled the new vision for Prizren's city.
While in the evening, the head of The PDK has stayed in the Curilla neighbourhood where, together with Prizren citizens, it has drunk traditional tea tea teashops -- a tradition that former President Hashim Thaci and former Mayor Kadri Veselini had attended.
Through a post on his Facebook page, Krasniqi has indicated that he had a fantastic day in beloved Prizren, the city of identity, culture, tradition of hospitality.
PDK Chairman Memli Krasniqi's full statement:
A busy and fantastic day today in beloved Prizren, our city of identity, culture, tradition and hospitality.
Initially, I stopped at the Islamic Community Branch in Prizren to express respect and gratitude for their multidimensional work, not only in spiritual growth but also in the welfare of the community, as well as in cultivating tolerance and understanding that values our historic capital.
During the day, accompanied by our candidate, Shacir Totaj, we split for the nearest and along with Kurilla citizens, the coming hope of a return to Prizren after 17 October, when Shaqa will take their confidence to govern.
Of course, each time, under the company of hospitable and caring citizens, I wrapped up my visit to Prizren to the famous Curilla teahouses.
Prizren has lost a lot of time, so we don't have time to waste. October 17th, we win. October 18th, we start work. Together for Prizren our identity. Prizren's development and perspective that its citizens need.
