Rahoveci, Lipjan, Drenas, Gjakova and South Mitrovica are among the most transparent and accounting municipalities.
The report “Transparometer municipal 2020 and Transparency of municipalities in retrospect” published today by the Democratic Institute of Kosovo [Kosovo] KDI] unveiled the level of transparency of local institutions in Kosovo's 38 municipalities based on 48 appreciative indicators.
Local Power Minister Elbert Krasniqi said transparency and accountability are the main principles for good governance.
Rahovec's chairman, Smajl Latifi, has stressed that the municipality he leads in recent years has seen progress in increasing wave transparency in the engagement of municipal officials.
Transparency had been Pristina chairman Shpend Ahmeti's main card, but the capital ended only in 7th place in Kosovo. /Periscope
