Even before he set foot in the field, he had Coca-Cola lose $4 billion in shares after he removed two bottles at a press conference and asked everyone to take water.
Portuguese legend few knew how much trouble it would cause, but they caused the news, and everyone began to copy it.
Paul Pogba reacted equally by taking away bottles of Heineken beer, while Manuel Locatell removed the Coca-Cola's view and kept the water.
Ronaldo scored two for Portugal against Hungary the next day and not only sealed a 3-0 victory, but saw it become the best goalist in European Champions' history.

Despite all the titles, though, it seems that not everyone knows who Ronaldo is.
That's because a Ronaldo video trying to get into the Puerto Rican Arena Stadium before the match against Hungary is becoming viral.
A security guard calls Ronaldo to check his ID twice and make sure he has access to the stadium.
The Portuguese reaction seemed normal after the security guard's request, even though a cynical smile was observed behind his face.
