Today marked the third anniversary of the death of Kosovo football legend Fadil Vokri

The Kosovo football federation has a special dedication for the anniversary of our legend Fadil Vokri.

Vorri was the man who exalted Kosovo football mostly and his death was a loss not only for Kosovo but also for the beautiful football game.

This is the Federation statement:

Today is three years without You the legend of our football, Fadil V OKRRI.

Although the years are running away, memories of You remain fresh to all of us, to the people you cooperated with, and to all who know you.

Your name was and remains a symbol and part of the motivation of new generations. You were and will remain one of the most remarkable personalities of national football and not alone.

Your contribution is written in gold in the history of our football, while the stadium that bears your name is now the most beloved home not only of football players, but of all the people of Kosovo.

June 9th of 2018 remains a dark day because it took you out of this life when you needed our family and football most. But perhaps God loved you more than all of us and took you along to remain immortal as the legend.

Your flight was heavy not only for the family but for us as a society and a soccer community. Words are many to say about You, my friend, for your works were extraordinary. But it's not easy to write because every time I write, I get involved with emotion.

Together we faced many trials and challenges, but even on happy days, so we will always be part of our memory as a generous and generous person.

You will always be part of our football journey, and every achievement of ours will be a sign of thanks to You and to all those who are not among us today, with whom you contributed over the years to the life of the dream of many generations of Kosovo football.

May God meet us in the eternal world.
