A SC: Government for three months spent 521.0m euros, 121m more than last year

Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has announced that in the first quarter of this year's Kosovo Government Incomes stood at 523.6m euros. The expenses during that time, however, were 521.0m euros.
According to the AKS, the general government's revenues in the first quarter of this year stood at 523.6m euros, which marks an increase, compared to revenues in the first quarter of 2020, totaling 402.4m euros. The largest share of revenues constitutes taxes on products, which represent 64.3% of total revenues, while the remainder have been distributed into other income categories.
The total cost of the general government at TM1 2021 stood at 521.0m euros, while the costs at TM1 2020 were 400.3m euros. Much of the expenditures are made up: compensation of workers (32.6%); social contributions and benefits (28.8%); consumption middle (11.5%); and gross capital formation (10.0%). While the remainder of the expenditures have been distributed into other categories of expenditures”, the announcement says.
