The pro-Russian party, the Democratic Front, noted that the current parliamentary majority in Montenegro no longer exists, warning the boycott of parliament and the government crisis in the country that could lead to early elections as well.

Representatives of this party stressed that the <x0->vote for the Srebrenica resolution, which was not voted into a vote by the Bosnia and Herzegovina Parliament, is at the expense of the Serb people and the Serbian republic”.

Belgrade authorities also reacted strongly to decisions taken in Montenegro's parliament. Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucic, addressed the Serbian people in Montenegro, saying the <x0-boreolta approved is against Serbia's interests, but Serbs in Montenegro must keep their head high”.

While Serbia's Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandar Vulin went and further, saying he would demand that Montenegrin deputies who voted for the resolution be barred from entering Serbia.

Montenegro's current prime minister, Zdravko Krivokapic, has proposed the dismissal of Justice Minister Vladimir Leposavic, after he refused to resign.

He said the minister should talk about Srebrenica in the spirit of government policy.

Prime Minister Krivokapic, though calling it unnecessary to adopt the resolution on Srebrenica, accused the pro-Russian party, the Democratic Front, that in co-operation with Belgrade, it is aimed at ousting Montenegro's current government.

Attitudes from Belgrade have been answered by Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic, who has reminded Belgrade that Montenegro is an independent state and decides for its own destiny.

I call on all actors to get rid of nationalism, hostility and the past, because it has brought us nothing good. Let us be devoted to solving problems and changing the future. I'm ready for dialogue with colleagues and this is very necessary at the moment”, Abazovic said.

Montenegro's Parliament fired Justice, Human Rights and Minorities Minister Vladimir Leposavic last week because of his faithless stand on the genocide in Srebrenica and adopted a resolution banning the denial of genocide there.
