The 66-year-old assassination in Rahovec allegedly occurred after a quarrel with brother for selling some livestock

H.G., 66-year-old from the village of Sopniq of Rahovec, was allegedly killed last night by his brother J.G., 58, after a quarrel between them. According to Gazeta Express sources, the fatal consequences incident allegedly relates to the sale of several livestock.

The 66-year-old was first injured, but because of the heavy gunshot wounds the same had passed away.

“Incident allegedly came after a rumour concerning the sale of several cattle”, said this reliable source of Express.

At the prosecutor's order, the suspect (the victim's brother) has been detained for 48 hours, and the body has been sent to the IML for production.

Otherwise, the news of the murder has confirmed Police spokesman for the Gjakova region, Nysret Jurkaj.

“Around 9:00 p.m. in the village of Sopnick of Rahovec has suffered a fatal wound. The serious victim has been sent to the regional hospital in Gjakova, and despite the same medical efforts, the same has passed away. The parties are suspected to be family members. Police units have responded to the scene. The suspect was arrested”, he said.
