Pandemia COVIDD-19 has not contributed to the decline in the number of Kosovo citizens who decide to spend the weekend in Albania.
Albania's ambassador to Kosovo, Kemal Minxhozi, has told news.net that since Friday, over 30,000 citizens from Kosovo have gone to Albania.
“32 thousand of Kosovo's 163 citizens have gone to Albania this weekend, 5 thousand of them only today”, Minxhozi said.
We remember that a large number of Kosovars had decided to spend weekends in Albania even when the Kosovo government imposed anti measures - CO VID for 12 days, this action that was not well received by citizens.
Despite the whole situation created by the COVID-19 pandemic, Kosovo citizens did not prevent anything from travelling to Albania, and some from Montenegro.
Since March of last year Kosovo, but Albania is also continuing to face the COVID-19 virus.
For the time being in Kosovo, there are 8,307 active cases, while many of them are currently hospitalised throughout the country.
The danger of moving from one country to another did not prevent the latter from traveling.
