The tiger, named India, a nine-month Bengal tiger, surrendered to police on Saturday and is taught that it is safe.
His images last week presented him as he walked west of the city while he was, writes BBC, translates Periscope.
Tiger will then be delivered to an animal shelter.
The animal in question was originally seen on the street on May 9th. When police officials arrived at the scene, a man had taken him into his car and fled.
The police had tried to track him but had lost him.
A few days later, the person in question had been arrested. It was about Hugo Cuevas, a person who had been on parole after being convicted of murder. /Periscope
