Haxhiu speaks of cocaine seizure in Lipjan, thanks to Italian authorities

Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has been declared in connection with the seizure of 400kg of cocaine drugs that took place today in Lipjan.

Haxhiu said the joint action, Italy, Albania and Kosovo ended with the capture of a large amount of narcotics, wishing that this case would be successfully completed to the end.

Minister Haxhiu stressed that this international operation has been authorised according to the competencies granted by law for international judicial co-operation in criminal cases.

She has also thanked the Italian authorities for identifying this amount of drugs.

I have authorized this international operation according to the competencies that my law provides for international judicial co-operation in criminal matters and I wish the same to be addressed as priorities by our competent organs.
