Police in the Omsk region, about 2,200km east of Moscow, said the doctor Aleksandar Murakhovsky left the forest hunting base Friday with his vehicle off the road and that he has not been seen since then, Reuters reports.
Emergency services, fears, a helicopter, field volunteers were also reported, joined by search efforts.
Murakhovsky was the principal doctor at the hospital in the Siberian city of Omsk, where Navlany was treated. He was then promoted to the regional health minister.
