Periscope has secured the report from Kosovo police last year, where despite the fact that it was the pandemic situation, there were 1,000 and 5 cases in the area of prevention, investigation and intelligence of narcotics trafficking in the country, while 1,000 suspected persons were arrested.
Police data reportedly seized 9kg 803.65g heroin, 2kg 676.85 pounds of cocaine, 225.42 grams of ecstasy, 256kg 717.9 kg of marijuana, and 5 thousand and 622 cannabis plants.
Of all these cases, according to police, 170 cases of trafficking with 276 persons were recorded, and 185 criminal charges against 284 suspected persons; (b) possession of drugs were recorded, 842 suspected persons were arrested, and 508 criminal charges were filed against 633 suspected persons; (c) cultivation were recorded 33 cases, 21 suspected persons were arrested, and 21 criminal cases were filed against 21 suspected persons, and 1 case was initiated for other drugs.
Of the general number of cases, 37 cases of heroin have been initiated and 48 persons have been arrested for cocaine, 38 cases have been recorded, and 70 people have been arrested for marijuana, 898 cases have been initiated and 1,005 people have been arrested, while 33 cases have been initiated and 21 persons have been arrested for developing cannabis plants.

As of January 2021 and so far it is seen that the latest cocaine seizure in Lipjan has raised the estimated number of narcotics substances to a high percentage, which, in addition to the estimated types of drugs, reflects the sequencing of weapons, money, bullets, and other things.
