More 11,700 doses from Pfizer arrive in Albania today

There are more than 740 thousand vaccines coming in Albania to this day, while now there are 11,700 doses of vaccine justly from the two contracts we have, from the contract with 720 doses and the EU contract on 4 thousand doses”, Manastirliu said.
Following closely the process of vaccinating the employees of the handbilling factories, Manastirliu said the vaccine is going on at a high rate and over 600 thousand vaccines have been conducted in total.
The health minister spoke of relief during the summer season, depending on the situation being assessed in dynamics.

The +60-year-old groups and chronically ill are continuing to be vaccinated everywhere in health centres and in the concentration points of vaccine, and of course, the priority groups, which are on our agenda, such as the employees of our tourist operators, so that we have as much inoculated, to reach a relief undoubtedly over the summer period, always assessing the epidemic situation, which is valued in dynamics by our Committee of Experts”, Manastirliu said.
Massive vaccines are followed by combined calendars, for persons over 60 years of age and employees of critical services as soldiers, tour operators, etc. Since the beginning of the vaccine, 601,291 doses of vaccine against COVID-19, out of which over 479,020 vaccines have been conducted for people over 60 years.
