Through a Facebook post, the Vetevendosje Movement has announced that for the first time the annual budget will be over 100m euros.
Among other things, they have said that Kurti Government has a priority to have a force willing to protect the country and contribute to global peace and security.
Periscope had shown in the 2019 elections how Albin Kurti had changed words regarding the defence ministry budget. At first, he had promised 600m euros for four years [250m per year], but after two weeks he had changed it to 400 million [100 million per year].

It is not known why Kurt has not decided to reduce the budget to take into account the country's burdened situation as a result of Coddy-19.

The medium-term spending framework 2022-2024 approved at the 10th meeting of the Government envisions that, starting next year, the Ministry of Defense's annual budget for the first time is over 100m euros.
