It has been five months since Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi are being held in custody on charges of crimes against humanity.
More than that time, Sali Mustafa, Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj are being held.
But never in that time have former KLA heads of warriors met with close-eyed family members.
Klan Kosova has contacted some of them in Kosovo who, due to the safety of the process without wanting to be named, have only shown that daily shortages rise, and more needs to be looked closely at by detained family members. This is not being allowed, as they say, because of the pandemic, an answer that Michael Doyle, spokesperson for Specialised Chambers in The Hague, gave.
”Based on medical advice, private visits with family members and other persons at the detention centre are temporarily limited. To ensure necessary contact, the recorder has authorized visits via video connection to provide prisoners with the communication needed to maintain family ties, while measures restricting private visits are in effect. In addition, the reasonable number of calls made are financed by DHSK”, says Doyle.
Chronic below shows whether these measures are being reviewed and what is expected to happen to the vaccination of Kosovars who are staying in custody.
