Even AAK requires attracting changes to the Election Law

Besnik Tahiri, the head of the AAK Parliamentary Group, has said he has asked the head of the Parliament to withdraw changes to the Law for Elections. After the Assembly of Parliament's Headship meeting, Tahiri has said at the media conference that for changes to this law there should be consultation with all parties in the country. “

“What is seen and seen last night is that there has been a night operation that has put not only the Parliament but also the citizens of Kosovo, because everyone expected to move forward with it for the president and later turned out that the most priority is the amendment of an election law that is the basis of democracy in the country. On this topic we asked the Speaker of the Parliament to build political consultation process with parliamentary, non-parliamentary parties, with civil society and international actors to make reform”, he said after the meeting, where he was expected to be put to the session to elect the president.

“As AAK we are and stand firm to grant all voting rights and to be elected diaspora. We should also do analysis of possible manipulations from Serbia. The people spoke. The VV has won the election. Mr. Kurti's on duty. We gave him two messages at the first session. Respect the faith that the people have given you. It's a beautiful speech, not a critic, but a responsibility and you have to exercise it”, Tahiri concluded.
