On behalf of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kosovo, we thank the Government of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Health and Social Defence, Prime Minister Rama and Minister Manastirliu respectively, for the opportunity given to a number considered by Kosovo healthcare professionals to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in Kukes.
Also, a special thank you to Albania's health professionals who with high ethical and professional administration giving vaccines to their Kosovar colleagues over the past two days, along with all those who contributed to the implementation of the vaccine (Ambassor Hasani, FSSHK, etc.), which, as an act, beyond any symbolic one, shows the importance of co-operation between the two states in the position of protection as far as appropriate. COVID-19.
At the time when various international institutions, which throughout the pandemic have given speeches to the Balkan states for “axing and equal opportunities” and when “solidarity” promoted by them for providing vaccines against COVID-19 has been trained by <x4-nationalistism” of vaccines, Albania's aid to Kosovo, has even greater weight and shows that even the young can succeed when working together and do not lack value.
I am convinced that health professionals from Kosovo will always appreciate this contribution to the Government of Albania.
The best thanks on their part is the care they have shown and are showing throughout these months of pandemic for hundreds of Covid-19 patients from northern Albania, who at Prizren Hospital, the Gjakova Hospital, but also at KKUK, found a treatment as professional as brotherly one.
