Atanasiya was being treated in the hospital and was in serious condition, with inflammation of both lungs.
The retired bishop Atanasija of Zahumlje and Primorje-Gorski Kotar was admitted to the Trebinje Hospital for treatment in the second half of February, after resulting positive with COVID-19.
