Reagon Veton Berisha after party vote buying scandal backing Albin Kurti

Kosovo Egyptian Party Chairman Veton Berisha has reacted after reporting that Elbert Krasniqi from the IRDK has bought votes to elect MP.

Berisha says he believes in justice organs in this case dawning.

Unable to react earlier, since we have been committed to the complaining issue against the vote orchestration by the Political Subject “Rome”, tonight we present our official concern as the Egyptian Liberal Party PLE for the already public scandal over the purchase of the IRDK vote.

The IRDK as a political party that ran in early parliamentary elections for the mandate of Egyptian community deputy and being in direct competition with us as a PLE, through these illegal actions managed to divert the will of the community.

This action opens a new chapter for the PLE because we as a political subject have so far fought against the injustices and discrimination that have taken place from outside against the Egyptian community, but now we will be forced to fight even this injustice that has occurred within us and against the will of the influential Egyptian community by political subject. The phenomenon of vote buying is an ugly act and a crime, and worse by misusing the serious economic situation of members of our Egyptian community, who for a total value of 40 euros for one vote has destroyed their dignity altogether.

Also, we as PLE are willing to cooperate with all institutions of justice and invite the Egyptian community to show courage and be cooperative by providing help in providing arguments so that the organizers of this criminal act can receive the deserved sentence, in order never to repeat this phenomenon among the Egyptian community, and in particular by those who claim to represent them on the political scene.

For 7 years PLE has stood on the political scene with only free and sincere vote from the Egyptian community and the IRDK analyzing PLE's hard work and achieving the deviation of the PLE's victory in the February 14th elections, the only form of the IRDK to reach <x0fitre” has been this non-legal act.
