“The purpose of Lajcak's visit is to receive confirmation of continuing Kosovo dialogue Serbia”

University Professor Jehona Lusaku has said that the goal of Kosovo's Special Emissar of the European Union Kosovo (Kosovo) Serbia Miroslav Lajcak is to receive confirmation from the Kosovo side for continuing dialogue. Lushaku in KlenK said Kosovo should deliver the message that is partner in this process and does not back down from dialogue.
“Yes, this is an important visit from an emissary that has a mandate to mediate between Kosovo and Serbia. It's important to say it's been declared so far by Mr. Lajcak, to receive confirmation from both sides of continuing to resume dialogue between the two countries, and I believe I will insist on putting the time back and restart of this” dialogue.
It is very important for Kosovo to have a confirmation of participation in this dialogue and to have an intensification of this dialogue. Kosovo must deliver the message that is its partner in this process and does not withdraw from dialogue”.
She said she does not believe there will be discussions in detail about what the final agreement would look like between Kosovo and Serbia.
There are new circumstances created after elections in Kosovo, and on the other hand, we have a new American administration, as if it has changed a little general scheme of the partners involved in the” dialogue.
“Now that we're still at the end of the last election vote count, institutions have not been confirmed and Government has not started, I don't think there will be any discussions in detail or versions of who the epilogue of this” dialogue might be.
However, there will be topics that can be evolved as part of the final agreement with Serbia. There could be topics for implementation of existing agreements and what agreements between these two countries could contain”.
However, I don't think there can be a final version of this dialogue.
We still don't have the consolidation institutions and they themselves should create vision for dialogue. Mr. Kurt has said several times before that there should be reviews and or new thoughts of dialogue. And this is done by involving institutions together with friends within the European Union and abroad like the United States of America”.
