Besart says that this work is being done in the form of the book, since Xhedin Gashi was also a teacher and that this paper is expected to be completed on May 25th, and the elementary school bearing the name of the hero in Komoran will be donated.
For national hero Xhedin Gashi-The Old Man it is my pleasure to work something like this, a special work, because he has been a special man, and all those who have given their lives for the freedom of Kosovo. Xhedin Gashi, Kosovo's hero, was a long time before he was in the illegal teacher and has given knowledge in the younger generations, for that reason I formed him in the form of a book in which the general will work with the inscription “Liberty has the name” and will seal his image and the KLA image, as they sealed the KLA war and the freedom of Kosovo. This work will be completed on May 25th, in honour of the general's 75th anniversary of his birth and donated to the Komorani School, which proudly bears the name Geladin Gashi-Old Man,” said Gashi.
Artist Besart Gashi in 2020 had entered the Guinness Book with the mosaic of Agim Ramadan, which is located in Gjilan, which he did with lead shelling. Besarti has the same goal this time if you find support from institutions.
With this form of art, he says he will do the same in greater size and hopes to succeed in sending the name of hero Gheldin Gashi-The Elder in the Guinness Book of Records and the KLA's emblem.
I believe that in a very fast future, if I find support from institutions in this form, with this method of my art now new today that I'm trying, I'm going to apply for the book Guinness and send the name of hero Geladin Gashi-Plak to the Guinness Book of Records and the name of the Kosovo Liberation Army. It is a great pride for me to bear his name and register in that book”, Gashi said.
For this work of Besart at the civil centre facility in Komoran, Ilir Gashi, son of General Geladin Gashi-Placu, says it is a good feeling when new generations value people who sacrificed their lives for the freedom that we enjoy today.
“for us as a family is a good feeling, when new generations take care of the values of people who have given their lives for the country, and have brought us freedom” he said.
Gashi also says that from institutions so far, only the bust of Geladin Gashi-Plach at the School of Komorani was established.

Xhedin Gashi-Plack was born on May 25th 1946 in Komoran. The primary school was conducted in Pristina's home, high school, and higher schooling at the University of Skopje at the Biology- Kim branch.
After completing his studies, he began his teaching job at the “Bayram Curri” in Nekovc, Drenica, where he later was the principal of this school. Later, he continued his work as a professor in the Komoran, which he always carried out in parallel with his patriotic illegal activity.
