Kurti in Lezha for National Union: The Constitution forbids us.

LVV leader is seen today in Lezha along with Ilaz Shehu, who is the candidate for deputy from Vetevendosje in Albania, Ziadin Sela, chairman of the Alliance for Albanians in Northern Macedonia, Shaip Kamberi Albanian deputy in Serbia's Parliament and the mayor of the Tuzi municipality, Nick Gelosaj.

Kurti has spoken to reporters, saying that the origin of the Albanian union is in this country.

We are in this country where the Lezha Parliament was gathered and our national hero was buried, here is the origin of the Albanian union. Policymaking should definitely be returned to Leja and the covenant, so that we can get out of the difficulties Albanians have everywhere. But even put on the tracks of democracy and justice that no one leaves behind”, he said.

LVV leader has called for Kosovo and Albania to co-ordinate towards rapprochement.

“No doubt that Albania and Kosovo as states as institutions should co-ordinate towards rapprochement, integration and unity, and I would say above all in key areas, in security, in energy and natural resources and foreign policy”, Kurti said away, as he was asked by the media even about the state union.

Kosovo's constitutionally conditioned “has a contradiction, Article 1.1 says Kosovo is an independent state, while Article 1.3 forbids us from joining another state. In this sense, Kosovo's independence does not constitutionally allow joining another independent state, but also presents the obstacle to integration as it is European. In Kosovo, we do not have the law for referendum and do not change the Constitution, but, of course, this is the historical intensity and the desire of Albanians”, he has said.
