KMDLNI gives advice to Kurt and Osman: Speaker of the Parliament Give the Opposition

The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms, calling for the quickest formation of institutions, has called on the opposition to reflect on the interests of the state and citizens by voting, without any reserve, and without any condition the formation of Kosovo institutions.

KMDLNj says it is now a situation where the future position takes all responsibility. The future opposition, however, is comfortable with the fact that it does not take any responsibility that belongs to the position but will be corrective and positionive and will thus be able to reform within the subject they represent.

On March 4th, 2021, the Central Election Commission came out with preliminary results for the February 14th 2021 elections. After the period of complaint and after meeting the legal deadlines, the CEC will come up with final results, after which the process of forming Kosovo institutions will begin, on the basis of results achieved in the last elections. Since the end of the war, we have never had a clearer situation, and it has never been easier for Kosovo institutions to be formed without any delay. The winning LVV party, which has played a coalition with List Guxo, has won approximately 50 %s of the overall vote, which, translated into deputies, turns out to have won 58 MP mandates. In a word, after the election of president/s and head of the Parliament, the way is opened for the prime minister and the Kosovo government cabinet to be voted and, according to KMDLNj, is a matter of technical nature. The possibility of having problems during the president's election of what, according to KMDLNA, should have a political agreement and that the future opposition should testify to the opposition's constructiveity by not blocking this process, meaning that the country must go to new elections for which KMDLNA estimates they are completely unnecessary and can easily be avoided. The future opposition, with a constructive approach to forming institutions, would create the possibility for the position to begin implementing promises and responsibilities, which, according to the KMDLNj, are by no means easy and that some processes are unable to be realised without opposition.
