Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Enver Hoxhaj, accompanied by Secretary General Ismaili, Deputy Chairman Memli Krasniqi and headship member Blerta Deliu, has hosted the EU Special Representative for Kosovo Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak at the meeting.
At this meeting, Hoxhaj has announced the PDK's position that any possible agreement between Kosovo and Serbia should be in line with the country's Constitution, not affecting Kosovo's territorial integrity, integrity and sovereignty.
According to Hoxhaj, the region can overcome this historic challenge only when the two countries recognise each other, and Kosovo provides seating at the UN.
Also, at the meeting, President Hoxhaj has expressed his concern over the map presented by Lajcak in one of his interviews where the Kosovo border did not figure as a partition line with Serbia.
Hoxhaj has asked Lajcak for an apology on this issue since the dialogue mediator should not take a unilateral stand on this process and he should recognise the reality of independent Kosovo.
The EU's special envoy for the dialogue has notified PDK leaders of his plan to resume dialogue soon after the institution of new institutions in Kosovo.
