The news has been made known about the show #age in T7, MP and Democratic League chairmanship member Anton Quinn.
He has made it known that leadership will be meeting today and that there will also be planning for the next meeting with Vjosa Osman.
It's a real-time meeting, the LDK has represented the chairman and vice president according to reports there will be a next meeting, today we have a leadership meeting, it's a topic that's been debated within the structure, our goal is that whatever decision we know we will preserve the unity of the parliamentary group, because we have had experiences that we have different. We don't have a definite answer yet, but we're still debating”, he said.
The meeting will be held today at 16:30 at the Democratic League headquarters in Pristina.
Quinn has discovered his position on Osman and his candidacy.
“I have friendship with Mrs. Osmani I know all its values, and I am more than convinced that the LDK decision will be in favour of citizens and in favour of state”, he said.
The former minister has indicated even though he is removed from the race for LDK chairman.
The “Moment when I'm set to pull me out of the race was the fact that they gave me a message that we should enable new generations”, he said.
Vjosa Osmani has exercised the office of Kosovo president for several months after Hashim Thaci's resignation.
In LVVV-List Agreement “GUXO”, Osmani had become aware he will assume the position of Kosovo president.
Osmani, who has come out most voted by the February 14th elections, as counterCandids for the president's position, had Ramush Haradinaj. However, the same race seems to have drawn itself.
It can only be named president if it ensures 2/3 of all MPs' votes.
The president's resolution is made by two-thirds (2/3) of all Parliament deputies. If no candidate gets a majority of two-thirds (2/3) in the first two votes, the third vote is organised between the two candidates, who have received the highest number of votes in the second vote and the candidate who gets the majority of votes of all MPs, is elected president of the Republic of Kosovo”, the Kosovo Constitution correctly.
The country could go to extraordinary elections if no candidate reaches the necessary votes, until elections, according to the Constitution, should be held within 45 days.
