Serbia says France will help for Kosovo: Macro can and will pressure Kosovars

Serbia's Government Foreign Affairs Minister Nikola Selakovic praised on Tuesday that the conversation at a four-hour meeting between the presidents of Macron and Vucic was of great importance and that several models from France have been offered to resolve the Kosovo issue, added that it would be exactly this state that [...]
Selakovic made these comments on Serbian television Tv Prva when he was asked about the much-advanced meeting by Serbia's pro Vucic media, insisting on what innovation Vucic has learned from Macro for Kosovo resolution models.
Selakovic stressed that in these questions, he cannot answer and added that this issue would be the subject of Vucic's future talks with Macron and other officials of both states. It is important that in conversations where Kosovo and Metohija are the subject for Serbia to have serious and realistic access” has added Selakovic.
Selakovic stressed that France can do much when asked questions as to how France could meet Pristina to meet what has been hired, added side by side that Macro is growing up to the future EU leader that, together with Laschet from Germany, lay Europe's path to the world political scene.
Selakovic as if his chief repeated the usual order that expectations should be lowered in Serbia and should not be surprised that France, as if other major states change their foreign policy for 180 degrees on the Kosovo issue. The Serbian top diplomat warned that the government is carefully approaching dialogue and compromise by showing commitment according to him, as they do not want Serbia to be the one to blame if this process fails.
As usual, Selakovic as any other Serbian official does not take the chance to complain and show himself victim by blaming Pristina for the fulfillment of the commitments that the Serb side has, according to him, made, assessing that even Macron recognised you as merit in addressing him before the media after the meeting where he thanked Vucic for the initiative shown.
Selakovic tried to avoid the issue if it had become clear yesterday that Serbia could not join the EU without resolving the Kosovo issue, saying this has never been put down so far, according to him, but added that in the 35th chapter of negotiations with the EU it is the obligation to normalise relations with neighbours for Serbia. Serbian diplomat added comfort that 5 EU member states have not accepted Kosovo.
