Stressing the aim of boosting the economy and creating new jobs, Hoxhaj has said small, medium and large enterprises will provide direct financial support for technological modernisation and will also provide professional expertise.
As the next prime minister, Hoxhaj has said he will commit to bringing foreign investment to Gjilan.
For us as the Democratic Party of Kosovo, it is important to have balanced development. Balanced development means not always investments should happen only in Pristina. Balanced development means investment should happen both in Gjilan and Prizren, both in Peja and Mitrovica, and in Ferizaj. Through this balanced development we manage to address the challenges in the field of economy”, he said.
Hoxhaj has cited the difficulties gastronomia is facing during the pandemic period and has added that his government's priority will be to solve the sector's problems.
On the other hand, Hoxhaj has also met Djilan's teachers, who have promised pay raise.
We will strongly restore the dignity of the teacher and the first decision I will make in government, let all hear from Gjilan, any country-level teacher, those in elementary school, those in high school will have a minimum salary of 600 euros, 700 euros in high school, and that's the commitment we've made in the past. That's the vow we're gonna make today, he said.
Before Gnjilan's teachers, Hoxhaj also presented the PDK's plan on how to hold lessons in time of pandemic.
We know the first 100 days in what form we have to make the learning process easier, simpler and more likely, if it's fully passed on this part online, by equipping every student with the tablet and every professor with the tablet. By offering you training and seeing what to do with the school calendar in a more flexible way, so that you don't get this topic under stress, neither children nor parents can take it under stress. We have a clear plan of what we're going to do in the first 100 days”, he said.
