According to the court, the victim was “involved in organised crime”, the BBC writes.
Prosecutors claim Beqiri's murder was part of the escalation of violence between two rival networks from Sweden.
His wife, Deborah Krasniqi, has denied that she was part of the criminal groups during the ongoing trial process.
Swedish police inspector Kaysa Delmar-Wigstrom said on Tuesday at the Southwark Crown court that he was part of an organised crime network involved in “violent spirituality” with another group in the Scandinavian country.

She said that the Swedish/Albanian citizen was suspected of “International drug trade since 2007 and had been arrested at “several cases” in Europe.
Beqiri's wife, Deborah Krasniqi, earlier denied that her husband was a criminal, telling lawyers that he was involved in the music business.
Flamur Beqiri was known as a music producer, but was prosecuted in 2008 for introducing a $2 million cocaine worth in Scandinavian. The Albanian, also known as "Alex" had left Sweden 5 years ago after he was threatened with life. He moved to Britain and after marriage bought a house in one of London's best areas, writes BBC.
