Women from Kosovo, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina through this protest seek justice for the sexual violence that Serb criminals exercised.
This initiative has been launched by Kosovo Assembly MP Vasfije Krasniqi.
The case, which will be held at 12: 00 a.m., is also supporting the “Genocide Centre in Kosovo-Open Plaque”, with which he has invited all fellow countrymen to join women's voice for justice.
“In accordance with all international-type judicial standards defining the crime of genocide (Convention for the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide Crime, the International Criminal Court statue and official documents of the Assembly of the constituent states of the National Criminal Court) the sexual violence exercised by Serbian armed forces against women in Kosovo, Croatia and Bosnia constitute one of the forms of genocide meant to seriously violate the physical and mental integrity of women a national, ethnic and religious group, such as different from Serbs. On October 28, 2021, in New York, women from Kosovo, Croatia and Bosnia will hold a rally to sensationalise international opinion on the bitter fact that justice has failed to say its word and bring criminals to criminal responsibility for the genocide they implemented through sexual violence”, it is said in their announcement. The Kosovo Genocide Centre supports this protest and invites all fellow countrymen to join women's voice for justice”.
