The clash between Nundman Jasaw and Albin Kurt seems to be inevitable taking their positions into account.

Jasharaj has criticised the government that it is becoming as if “indicates do not exist at all” until it has threatened “with syndical actions”, Pryscopi explains.

He through the USBAK's information office has indicated that there are pressures from membership of this union and that he envisions taking union action, such as strikes.

This time around, the union has shown more abstract than at other times and suggests there is a secret communication with the Government of Kosovo, which only they understand.

Full status:

Kurti government doesn't want to know that union in Kosovo

Now when the education system has returned to normality, and for that we have made a huge contribution to those employed in education, we will return to union commitments and therefore how the Kurti Government is doing, acting as if there are no unions in Kosovo, we will testify that we exist and are unique and devoted and therefore are not far from meeting decision-making bodies to declare union actions.

We don't want to talk about other unions and their action over the years, but the SBASK has a more than 30-year-old activity. It was created at the moment when Albanian education protection dams should be established against the Serb invaders' furnaces against Albanian education. This union in those difficult years, and thanks to the support of international friends, it carried out its mission by presenting the extremely difficult situation in Kosovo education and at the U Assembly. NESCO in 1993, to continue with commitments in the next few years under occupation. This union with the support of international friends also contributed to the return of the bell and smile to children in our schools in the early postwar years.

The SBASK, along with these commitments, had made numerous efforts to raise the economic position of the educated because after the war for the workers in education, it was said to be the poor who seek to get food items waiting until the next salary. The governments of Kosovo understood this reality, and in meetings with the SBASK committed themselves to improving the situation of employees in education. There were heated clashes and debates, but governments did not escape meetings and dialogue, and improvements and realisations of the demands of employees in education were being introduced by the SBASK.

I would remember that in all these years there were strikes, like that throughout the education system from nests to Universite. Governments then did not like it, but did not run away from meetings and debates because they did not want to create the conviction that they did not want dialogue and did not want meetings with trade unions, which they may not even like.

However, what happens now in Kurti Government is the first time in Kosovo, when the Government will not know that there are unions in Kosovo and that's why it doesn't love them and that's why it's getting out of meetings with them. The SBASK has criticised this stance of the Kurti Government and separately the unwillingness of meetings of Minister Iron Murati, who is also Minister of Labour and Social Management, a task he never performed once before. Kurti government needs to know that unions exist and that they are, like the SBASK, that have done union action until the general strike for three weeks throughout the education system. So far we've been praying for consensus and commitment to the entire educational system because of the pandemic situation, but now when the education system has returned to normality and for this we've made a huge contribution to employees in education, we're going to go back to union commitments and so on how the Kurti Government is doing, acting as if there's no union in Kosovo, we're going to testify that we're unique and dedicated and therefore are not far from the decisions of the sanctioning systems for union actions, so we're going to strike the entire educational system. And then let the citizens of Kosovo know that the only blame is the Government and its attempt to establish conviction that there are no unions in Kosovo.
