“14 began to consume marijuana”, confession of the young Albanian who left drugs after 12 years

I'm clear and I'm living my entire life”
So said 26-year-old Durres Jimmy Loga on A2 CNN as he shared his history of addiction to narcotics.
He said he started consuming marijuana at the age of 14, and after only 12 years he managed to break free from it, broadcast Periscope.
I want to thank you for this opportunity to show young people who are the wrong step that they may not understand right away, but I personally have suffered a lot. Even now I'm in a recovery period, because it's still the second week that's not very difficult for the body and brain”, he said.
He confessed that his first contact with drugs came through a much older person who convinced him that marijuana had no harmful consequences. The curiosity of adolescence and the influence of society moved him to experiment, but soon the use became addictive.
"At the age of 14, we are inclined to take new things, because it's the age of even the curiosity to experiment, and society on the other side. It was also somehow imposed by society. The person who gave me the first time to consume this narcotic substance like marijuana was at a certain age in his 30s. In the neighborhood where I lived in the city of Durres there was a person who couldn't mention his name, but he forced me to say that it's good, that there's nothing wrong with you, but that bad things are so big that I've suffered them and I'm suffering them all these years”, he said. A2 CNN.
According to him, drugs radically changed his life, lost interest in school, sports, and communication with his family, as he began to lie and even steal money from his parents to provide narcotics.
You lose your full interest in school. To lose full interest in good things. I lose everything. In fact, it's all good to lose. I wish I had chosen another way. I have friends who became footballers and built their careers, and I lost years of”, he said.
The 26-year-old showed that during the years of consumption, he has experienced serious psychological problems, paranoid episodes and situations that have threatened his life. He admitted that he had tried to quit drugs before, but he had not been as determined as he was now.
It turns into an addiction, it turns into an addiction in very little time, and it's very hard for you to stop it, because you don't actually understand because those things you need to understand when you don't drink those things anymore and you don't put in your principalities as a person. You can't reason properly, logic loses. That's the idea. You have the wrong view of things. You start and you get into that paranoid world”, he said. /Periscope
